Rather cloudy across northern and western parts, with outbreaks of rain slowly edging eastwards. Drier and brighter further south and east, with spells of hazy sunshine. Feeling cold in the east, but mild and breezy in the west. Tonight: Outbreaks of rain and drizzle continuing to push eastwards through this evening and overnight, though southeast England generally remaining dry. Breezy and mild in the west, chilly in the east.
