Friday’s front pages feature a mixed bag of ongoing news stories.

Several of the papers report on the squeeze on household budgets; there are updates on Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell’s cases as the leads for several tabloids. Novak Djokovic’s detention in Australia is the lead for several papers.

Files leaked to The Guardian appear to suggest that Conservative peer Michelle Mone and her husband were “secretly” involved in a PPE business that was awarded more than £200m in government contracts. Lawyers representing Ms Mone say the report is “grounded entirely on supposition and speculation and not based on accuracy”.

Metro focuses on Novak Djokovic’s situation in Melbourne. The paper says the tennis star is being kept with asylum seekers in conditions “said to be even worse than TV Aussie jail drama Prisoner Cell Block H”.

An online troll who threatened Piers Morgan and his son has been arrested, The Sun reports.

Prince Andrew is trying to force the sale of a Swiss chalet to cover legal bills, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Daily Express says over-65s could see their fuel bills rise by £340 a year, according to new analysis.
