Drivers warned not to panic-buy fuel amid concerns over price rises across UK
Wales Online says Motorists have been urged not to panic-buy fuel amid fears prices will shoot up following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The stark warning comes after long queues were pictured forming at fuel stations across the UK yesterday following the distressing updates.
Russia is the world’s second-biggest oil producer, the largest natural gas exporter, and mainly sells to other European countries.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned: “One of the risks of Putin’s venture is that there could be a spike in oil prices.”
