Cinema shut down in Wales after refusing to comply with Covid rules
The Metro says An independent cinema has been shut down by the Welsh Government for refusing to comply with coronavirus rules.
The theatre in Swansea defied Covid pass regulations by refusing to ask to see proof that its customers were fully vaccinated or had recently tested negative.
Cinema & Co was told to close by trading standards this month after showing a pass became a legal requirement in Wales for cinemas and theatres.
The independent venue’s owner Anna Redfern had previously said she would not comply with the legislation, branding the passes ‘discriminatory and unlawful’.
