The Independent’s front page reports on the UK government’s consideration of sending jets to Ukraine. The paper says Rishi Sunak’s government has acknowledged that if they do go ahead with sending jets to Ukraine it could mark an escalation in the war – but sending planes is now part of the conversation regardless of what Russia is threatening.
