Reality star Christina Hall has revealed recent scans show she has mercury and lead poisoning, with the presenter suggesting it was from her line of work.
The Christina on the Coast star, 39, has been open about her recent health battles, and revealed in a post on Thursday alongside the poisoning she also has a ‘small intestine bacteria overgrowth’.
She wrote on her Stories: ‘My scan said I have mercury and lead poisoning. Most likely from all the gross houses I’ve been in (the bad flips) and I have small intestine bacteria overgrowth.
‘So we are first detoxing all of this through herbs and IVs and then see how I feel and tackle the implants.’
Lead poisoning occurs when lead builds up in the body, often over months or years, with even small amounts causing serious health problems. According to Mayo Clinic, lead-based paint and contaminated dust in older buildings are common sources of poisoning, while other sources include contaminated air, water and soil. Adults who work with batteries, do home renovations or work in auto repair shops also might be exposed to lead.
Similarly, people may be exposed to mercury by breathing or ingesting it, or through skin contact. UK Government guidance states that breathing elemental mercury fumes can cause nausea, vomiting and flu-like symptoms such as fever and muscle aches and pains.

Previously, the mother of three and former Flip or Flop star suggested it was her breast implants that may have been making her sick.
She wrote last week: ‘I’ve had some unexplained health stuff for years, and now I’m considering the thought that this could be breast implant related,’ and added she removed cosmetic fillers in her face fearing they were ‘causing an inflammatory reaction’.
Christina also went on to say she was dealing with ailments including autoimmune disorder Hashimoto’s disease, Raynaud’s syndrome, which causes numb fingers and toes, polycystic ovary syndrome, unexplained skin rashes, joint and muscle pain, dry eyes, acid reflux and brain fog.
Last year she also spoke about suffering from stomach pain since 2016.
She wrote on social media: ‘It has been written off as stress and doctors have tried to put me on all the pills/meds but luckily I realized masking it wasn’t the answer. I wanted to fix the problem so I really focused on my nutrition and it seemed to get better but then last year it was triggered again and all of a sudden the stomach pain was back.’
Christina continued: ‘Anxiety can cause major flare ups and my biggest thing I’ve notice being affected is my digestion/gut health.’
