Julia Bradbury has reportedly signed up to star in the next season of The Real Full Monty.
The TV presenter, 53, is best known for fronting a series of outdoor walking programmes across various TV channels as well as co-presenting the BBC One programme Countryfile with Matt Baker from 2004 until 2014.
Then, in 2021, Julia announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and underwent a mastectomy later that year.
Since then she has been sharing her journey and recovery, also regularly encouraging others to regularly check their breasts for anything out of the ordinary.
She’s now said to have signed up for the reality series to continue her efforts to raise awareness by stripping off in the name of charity.
‘Julia has been so inspiring, honest and real throughout her journey and so was a natural choice for ITV bosses in casting The Real Full Monty,’ a source told The Sun.

‘Julia calls herself a “cancer thriver” and she sees taking part as the embodiment of that — doing something bold and brave.
‘She jumped at the chance of being involved as she wants to do everything she can to encourage men and women to check themselves and be more open about their health.’
The source added: ‘While other members of the cast are dancers or performers, it won’t come as naturally for Julia — but that’s what will make her involvement all the more inspiring.’
After finding a lump in her breast in July 2021, Julia was diagnosed with cancer two months later.
Other famous faces reported to have signed up for the next season include fellow breast cancer survivor Victoria Ekanoye, who is best known for playing Angie Appleton in Coronation Street.
Meanwhile Dancing on Ice’s Vanessa Bauer and former royal butler Paul Burrell, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, are also said to be involved.
Previous contestants have included Coleen Nolan, Christine McGuinness, James Jordan, Teddy Soares and Brenda Edwards.
