Daily Express – Tory MPs’ plot to topple Rishi is self-indulgence 

The Daily Express says Tory MP and cabinet minister Ester McVey has insisted the majority of Conservative MPs support Rishi Sunak. She says some Tory MPs have put their own leadership ambitions above the party. 

Elsewhere, a second story on Dame Ester also features on the front page. A date was set for a major House of Commons debate on her fight to legalise assisted dying. Sadly, her stage four lung cancer will prevent her from attending in person, so the lifelong campaigner is asking supporters to urgently write to their MPs.
