Today’s news summary – Paper Talk

Monday’s front splashes on the prime minister’s fightback from partygate – reportedly named “operation red meat.” Prince Harry’s legal fight for the right to personally pay for police protection while in the UK so he and his family can visit is covered on several pages.

The Guardian says Boris Johnson has been accused of attacking the BBC to divert attention from Downing Street lockdown parties.

The Metro reports on world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic flying out of Australia after judges told him allowing him to stay in the country would set a bad example.

The Independent reports on fears for child refugees who have been wrongly deemed adults and might be forced to share a bed with a stranger.

“Johnson’s scapegoats” is the headline dominating the front of the Daily Mirror as the paper joins several others to report the steps the prime minister is taking in a bid to save his premiership.

The Queen will not help Prince Harry in his plans to sue the government to get back his Metropolitan Police bodyguards, the Sun reports.

Boris Johnson “will fight tooth and nail to save his political future,” the Daily Express says, citing comments from the prime minister’s allies.
