Rwanda flight
The Telegraph reports PM Rishi Sunak will face calls from a third of his cabinets to put leaving the European Convention on Human Rights at the heart of the Tory election campaign if the courts block migrant deportation flights to Rwanda.
The Supreme Court is set to decide on the policy soon. Flights to Rwanda have been suspended since last June after a judge at the European Court of Human Rights issued an injunction halting the deportations.
The Daily Express reports on the same story, quoting Robert Jenrick, who said he would do whatever was necessary to end the small boats crisis. Inside, it admits leaving the Convention would be a huge step.
