The Daily Mirror says the row between Rishi Sunak and Boris Johnson over his resignation honours list is a “new insult” to COVID victims ahead of the inquiry into the Government’s handling of the pandemic.

The paper says the PM and Johnson are “bickering like toddlers” over the resignation honours list. It gives its front page over to the Covid-19 inquiry, which will begin its hearings on Tuesday.
