Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel has handed out another incredible prize pool after a contestant made history, walking away with £116,000.
Earlier this month a contestant managed to win a whopping £82,000 for answering a single question, while last week another person won £96,000.
But those records have been smashed yet again.
Jonathan was one of the three contestants competing on the quiz show on Saturday night and, after the trio had built up the bank to £58,000, he decided to risk it all.
‘If I don’t go for it I’ll never forgive myself,’ Jonathan said.
‘That is life-changing and I would never forgive myself.’
To double it, he chose comedian Darren Harriott to be his celebrity expert.
Up until that point, Darren had not managed to answer many questions right and sat at the bottom of the expert leader board.

But when the time came to step up, he delivered.
The final question was related to technology, and while the duo were allocated 30 seconds to discuss the answer, it wasn’t needed at all.
‘What does the F stand for when referring to the digital assets called NFTS?,’ the question read.
Fiscal, fungible, futureproof or forgery were the options.

Within seconds Darren made clear he knew the answer, a relief to Jonathan who joked that: ‘I haven’t got a clue, like every other question I had tonight’.
‘Oh you are going to have a blast mate. It’s fungible. I am 100% certain on this,’ Darren added.
Those watching along at home were touched at what unfolded.
Earlier in the evening Jonathan had spoken about the fact that after his wife became unwell at the start of 2020, he was forced to quit his job as a bus and tram driver and start his own business to have the flexible hours to be able to care for her.
He also shared that his two children are autistic.
‘I would use it to secure a future for my family and buy a house,’ he said about what he would do if he won any money.
‘We live with hope. She is getting better very slowly, and life throws you curveballs and you need to take it on and just get on with it.’
‘It’s going to go a long way to providing them with a stable future,’ he added when waiting to find out if he had won.
And then he managed to win the most prize money ever given away on the show.

As he told Michael after winning, Jonathan said he ‘might not go to work tomorrow’.
‘This is unbelievable, I am lost for words. It is very rare I don’t know what to say, I am very emotional,’ he said.
‘You’ve changed my life.’
The Wheel continues next Saturday on BBC One.
