The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp put the controversy surrounding The Idol behind them as they stepped out at the film’s screening.
Posing at Cannes Film Festival, the pair appeared in good spirits as they celebrated their new HBO drama.
Lily, 23, looked gorgeous in a black dazzling mini dress.
The French actress added a pair of sheer tights with some high heels, and kept accessories to a minimum.
Her make-up captured attention, though, as she sported a dramatic eye with intense black liner.
She completed her glam look with a pair of mesh gloves and waved to adoring fans and photographers as she soaked up the moment on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd, 33, looked dapper in a black tux, complete with a bow tie.
The Blinding Lights hitmaker had a very blingy watch peeping out from under his jacket and flashed a peace sign to a cheering crowd.
They were joined by US director Sam Levison – who is also behind Euphoria – and their fellow cast members.
Starring Lily as Jocelyn, the series follows an aspiring pop star.

After having a nervous breakdown that caused the cancellation of her last tour, the singer begins a complicated relationship with a self-help guru and the head of a contemporary cult.
The Weeknd – real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – plays Tedros, while Dan Levy stars as Jocelyn’s agent, Troye Sivan is Xander, Jocelyn’s creative director, and Suzanna Son plays Chloe.
Despite its glitzy screening at the annual film extravaganza, The Idol has received an immense amount of backlash.
Promised to be ‘the sleaziest love story in all of Hollywood,’ the show made headlines for the wrong reasons when a damning report by Rolling Stone claimed that the program was in ‘turmoil’ behind the scenes over the exit of original director Amy Seimetz.

It’s said this led to multiple reshoots and script changes, with claims that director Sam ‘dialed up the disturbing sexual content and nudity’ upon his arrival.
However, The Weeknd has fiercely shut down criticism in the past.
He was initially called out for his ‘inappropriate’ clapback – after he shared a clip from the series branding the publication ‘irrelevant’ after the report emerged.
But, he stood by his response.

Talking about the plot of the show, which sees the young singer pay the price for surrounding herself with dangerous people, The Weeknd added: ‘I mean, this isn’t a secret.
‘Hollywood is a dark place. Which makes for great art.’
The Idol is released on June 4 on HBO Max.
