The Sun says the two young daughters of missing woman Nicola Bulley broke down in tears after their dad told them “mummy’s lost”. Ms Bulley was last seen walking her dog near the river when she mysteriously disappeared – her phone and dog were found, and her phone was still connected to a conference call when it was discovered on a bench. The paper also reports that a man they believe could be a key witness has come forward and is speaking to police. 

The front page also reports on the police response to the Hillsborough tragedy, with police finally admitting they failed the public.
