The Sun – Kit hits the fan 

The Sun reports that labour leader Sir Keir Starmer joined the “revolt” against the FA and Nike after the colours of the St George’s flag were changed on England football shirts. He’s called for Nike to recall the shirts and replace the changed flag. He made the comments on the Sun’s new online politics programme. 

The paper refers to the “updated” St George’s Cross as “woke”. There have also been fan complaints about the prices of the shirts.
