In a moment we might never have expected to see on our screens, The Last Leg host Adam Hills has bared all and had a flare lit up from his bum on television.
On Friday night’s episode of the show, the comedian made good on his promise to stick the flare into his backside after making a bet with his co-hosts Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker that his home country of Australia would make it further in the World Cup than England.
As we all know by now, Australia just missed out on making the quarter finals after being knocked out of the competition by Argentina last weekend.
Meanwhile England beat Senegal and are due to play France tonight for a chance to progress to the semi-finals.
Announcing what was about to happen on the show, Adam, 52, reminded people of just why it was all happening.
‘Right now it is time to make good on a wager,’ he explained.
‘I bet Josh and Alex that Australia would go further in the World Cup than England and as we all know they didn’t, so now I have to end the show in true English tradition…by putting a flare up my a**.’

Wheeling out a trolley with the device that was about to be stuck up Adam’s bum, his co-hosts gave him four options.
While Adam chose the shortest and skinniest one, he quickly realised his mistake when it managed to be extended and looked at least a metre or two long.
The nerves looked like they were setting in, but he dropped his pants and put his bum on full show, at which point the audience and his guest Joanne McNally totally lost it cheering and laughing.
However, his other guest Jimmy Carr looked shocked at what he was seeing.
As a man dressed in a medieval get-up walked out on stage to do the honours and light it up, Adam looked like he might have a slight ounce of regret, but it was clearly too late to back out.

Katy Perry’s Firework played as the flare worked its magic and Adam managed to sign off the show at the same time.
Those watching along at home couldn’t get enough.

The bet was inspired by Charlie Perry, a roofer from Sunbury-on-Thames is the man who became known as the ‘Arse Flare Man’ after pictures of him went viral in 2021 during the build up to the Euros final match between England and Italy.
In July fans, including Charlie, took over a large part of Leicester Square in London, where they were drinking and singing football chants, but he took things a step further and inserted a lit flare between his butt cheeks.
The Last Leg airs on Fridays at 10pm on Channel 4.
