The Last Leg has doubled down on security after Just Stop Oil protesters swarmed the Channel 4 set.
Last week, Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker were left speechless as the uninvited guests, who introduced themselves and gave the hosts orange high-vis vests, disrupted the broadcast.
As part of the protest, the environmental activists let off an orange confetti explosion before security for the show promptly removed them from the studio.
Lead presenter Adam, 53, addressed the commotion on Friday’s episode and thanked the night’s audience for enduring extra security before taking their seat.
The Australian comedian also insisted the team had no idea what was about to ensue and that it had not been planned by producers.
Josh, 40, joked if they had been in the know ‘we would have been funnier.’

‘I was genuinely thinking it was part of the show and I had drifted off in rehearsal,’ he continued.
Alex, meanwhile, 39, joked that he ‘didn’t trust anyone anymore’ after the chaos.
At the time, the trio took the invasion in good humour, with Adam whooping and cheering and Josh commenting he was ‘relieved’ they were part of Just Stop Oil.

Adam also said he wouldn’t mind if they came every week, adding: ‘‘If that’s what every Just Stop Oil protest is like I’m down with it.’
He continued: ‘If it’s people coming out smiling and throwing orange confetti, absolutely bring it on.’
This wasn’t Just Stop Oil’s only protest on TV – they also stormed the stage at the Royal Albert Hall on the opening night of the BBC Proms.
They then attempted to address the audience, before security intervened and removed the activists.
