The Apprentice descended into chaos tonight when guests involved in a task were left questioning what was going on, and why they were being screamed at by ‘prison guards’.
The remaining contestants were tasked by Lord Alan Sugar with putting on immersive experiences for guests, with Simba Rwambiwa and Megan Hornby taking on their roles very seriously.
Their team put on a prison day experience, with the pair transforming themselves into officers for the role – and they did a pretty epic job.
So good in fact, that while viewers at home were calling on them to win awards, the innocent people thrown into the situation had completely no idea what was going on.
They hadn’t yet been told they were part of an immersive experience, and instead seemed to think they were getting a prison tour, having been given little information by project manager Mark Moseley.
One questioned: ‘Can I just say something, we were not told that we’d be doing this, we were told that we were going to get a guided tour and a history tour.’
But Simba remained in character throughout, replying: ‘You misunderstood. You three get your fingerprints done.’
Another guest told Megan: ‘I didn’t think I was going to be shouted at all day,’ to which she warned: ‘Wait until you see your cell, then you’ll have something to complain about.’
Simba later stayed in his role as he treated the guests like prisoners, calling them all ‘troublemakers’ and shouting at them.

‘You come here, what’s funny?’ he questioned one, screaming at one to repeat: ‘I’m an idiot sir!’
Viewers were beyond impressed by the acting, with one writing: ‘Sorry, Simba and Megan are serving Academy Award winners, they’re not breaking character to show those women one ounce of sympathy.’
Another penned: ‘That was the funniest episode I have seen in ages – Simba you are a star,’ while a third wrote: ‘Simba and Megan staying in character even when the customers were confused and asking them questions had me dead’.
‘Megan and Simba winning a bafta when?’ someone else asked.

Ultimately, the day ended in disaster – but as Lord Sugar knew from the outset, it had nothing to do with Megan and Simba’s acting skills, as he threw their names out of the final three straight away.
In the end, Lord Sugar decided it was project manager, who spoke to wtxnews.com after his elimination, saying even he thought Megan and Simba were ‘great’, having thoroughly entertained the guests in the immersive jail experience.
The Apprentice returns next Thursday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Give the pair a Bafta for that performance!
