The Apprentice is back for its 17th series, with a bunch of new candidates attempting to secure Lord Sugar’s investment in their business – if they can make it through the tasks without getting fired, that is.
While Baroness Karren Brady will remain in her role to keep an eye on all the candidates for Lord Sugar, series regular Claude Littner is making only a couple of brief appearances, while he continues to recover from his horrific bike accident.
Which means that former series winner Tim Campbell is once again stepping into the breach to keep tabs on what the contestants are up to.
Just who is Tim, when did he win the series – and is he married?

Timothy Campbell MBE was the winner of the first-ever series of The Apprentice.
He hails from East London, having attended secondary school in Forest Gate, Newham, before attending Middlesex University, where he later graduated with a degree in psychology.
Campbell worked as a Senior Planner within the Strategy and Service Development directorate of London Underground, before he applied for the show.
He became Project Director of Lord Sugar’s company Amstrad’s new Health & Beauty division after being hired as a result of his win.

Campbell stayed at Amstrad after the end of his original 12-month contract, but in March 2007, after two years at the company, he left to set up a perfume business but this was later abandoned.
He went on to have further success and was made an MBE back in 2012, for Services to Enterprise Culture, having worked extensively in helping with social enterprise.
In 2016, Campbell set up a digital marketing agency called Marketing Runners Ltd with Derin Cag.
When did Tim Campbell win The Apprentice?

Tim won The Apprentice back in 2005, when it first began on the BBC.
He beat off competition, including former Loose Women panellist Saira Khan, who finished as runner-up.
At the time, contestants battled to win a £100,000-a-year job working for Lord Sugar at his company.
Shortly afterwards, it was commissioned for a second series and has been running on the broadcaster ever since.
Campbell appeared in the franchise once more in a special episode prior to the second series, entitled ‘Tim in the Firing Line’ – documenting his first year with Lord Sugar.
Is Tim married and does he have children?

Tim Campbell is married to wife Jasmine, who regularly shows up in posts on his Instagram.
Although little is known about her, he has previously spoken about her when addressing his battle with cancer in 2013.
‘My wife was distraught as her mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago, and my mum was devastated,’ Tim said.
‘I am a great believer in being positive. But I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without the strength and support of my family.’
The couple have two children, daughter Kayla, who is 22, and teenage son Aaron.
The Apprentice airs tonight at 9pm on BBC One.
