The full length trailer for Scream VI has dropped, finally offering us a look at Hayden Panettiere’s character, Kirby Reed, back in action.
Unlike previous instalments, Ghostface is now hunting the cast – including Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera and Courteney Cox – around the streets of New York.
In the terrifying new trailer, the Woodsboro gang uncover a ‘shrine’ to the creepy killer, with the latest figure in the costume, hellbent on keeping their legend alive – allbeit with a different mask.
Although it is not clear how Kirby meets the survivors from the last outing, she tells them: ‘We share a certain history…’
‘This isn’t like any other Ghostface,’ she warns as they search the bizarre lair.
In another creepy moment, Gale antagonises the killer on a trademark phone call, warning them that it ‘never works out for the dips**t in the mask’.

‘Maybe… But there has never been one like me, Gale,’ they hit back. ‘I’m something different.’
Thankfully, we don’t have long to wait to find out if Ghostface is right, as the slasher hits cinemas on March 10.
New stills released on Wednesday showed a contemplative Kirby rocking a leather jacket. Needless to say, stans have since set Twitter ablaze.
Hayden, 33, revealed last year that she personally called Scream bosses and asked if her character – who was last seen in 2011’s Scream 4 – could make a return.

After Kirby was stabbed by Rory Culkin’s character Charlie Walker at the end of the fourth film, fans long debated whether or not her character was still alive.
Paramount put an end to the dispute by announcing in May 2022 that Kirby would be returning to Woodsboro.
Sadly, Neve Campbell previously confirmed that she would not be returning as Sidney Prescott due to a salary dispute.
Now, Entertainment Weekly has provided us not only with a first look at 2023 Kirby, but also new images of Tara, Sam, Mindy and Chad.
Speaking to the outlet about what we can expect of Kirby this time around, Hayden said: ‘She’s come a long way.
‘What happened to her has obviously impacted her life, and it sends her in a certain direction, but she’s still the same old Kirby at the heart of it. She’s just a little older, a little wiser, but just as spitfire-y, and snarky, and all that good stuff.’

Scream VI is released in cinemas on March 10.
