Taylor Swift has proved she’s not one to shy away from singing in the rain, having performed for nearly four hours in a downpour on Saturday night.
Although some artists may cancel a show due to bad weather, there was just no stopping the star, who took to the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts as planned.
Following the gig, which was the latest leg in her Eras tour, she even thanked fans for being ‘iconic’.
Taking to Twitter, Taylor wrote: ‘Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!!
‘We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much you have no idea.’

Taylor’s fans showered (pun very much intended) her with praise.
‘As a dad who has listened to your music for 17 years, it was an incredible opportunity to see you for the first time and be part of the rainiest rain show, ever!’ one wrote.
‘You are an absolutely iconic performer!’
Another applauded: ‘Taylor Swift, the dynamo that’s very waterproof. No surpassing her dedication, talent, and energy.’
Earlier this month, the internet was sent into meltdown when reports emerged that Taylor is dating fellow musician Matty Healy, weeks after 33-year-old Taylor was said to have split from her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, 32.

Since then, Matty has been spotted at a number of his rumoured girlfriend’s shows and has even been sighted hanging out with her stockbroker dad.
On Friday, Taylor’s ex Joe was reportedly said to be feeling ‘distraught and slighted’ over the new relationship.
Meanwhile, Matty’s ex, Meredith Mickelson, is said to have been ‘blindsided’ by his romance.
