Taylor Swift delighted crowds at The 1975’s concert in London after she made a surprise appearance to sing her chart-topping hit Anti-Hero on Thursday night.
Making an unannounced arrival at the O2, the songstress debuted her track from the award-winning Midnights album alongside a cover of the headlining band’s The City.
The 33-year-old donned a sparkling sequined dress and wandered around the stage, taking in the crowd before readying herself for the impromptu performance.
Acknowledging the excited crowd with a cheeky grin, Taylor picked up a microphone looped her guitar around her neck, and began to strum the familiar opening chords.
Fans had phones at the ready and were quick to spread the bizarre news with social media and friends unable to make the concert.
Thousands of videos made the virtual rounds with fans of both parties eager to express their disbelief at what they were seeing.
