Daily Mirror – Sword attack horror
A witness spoke to the Daily Mirror, saying: “I can’t stop envisaging his face.” Under the headline “Sword attack horror”, the paper features a still from footage of the attacker being tasered. Met Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell said the individual was tasered at the scene and arrested 22 minutes after the force received the initial report. Providing updates on the conditions of the hospitalised victims, Mr Bell said that two members of the public sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Two of his officers sustained stab wounds considered “significant”, but “not life-threatening” at this stage. Both officers will require surgery.
