Sven-Goran Eriksson to get lifetime wish of managing Liverpool at Anfield during Ajax charity clash
Sven-Goran Eriksson will fulfill a lifetime dream of managing Liverpool at Anfield after accepting an invite from the club to manage a Legends team against Ajax in March.
The Swede, 75, was diagnosed with a form of terminal pancreatic cancer in January.
The former England manager says he has a year to live ‘at best’ and that he will fight ‘as long as possible’ to stay alive.
After revealing the devastating news, Eriksson gave a number of interviews and revealed that he was a lifelong Liverpool fan.
