    Suspected dangerous objects in Linköping

Police and the national bomb squad have been called to a location in eastern Linköping after several suspicious objects were spotted on the site.

According to police spokesperson Johnny Gustavsson, the area is mostly uninhabited and no buildings need to be evacuated at this time.

The location is near the railway, but train traffic is not affected.

“We have informed the railway management that we are on the scene and working. We will update them if there is any indication that railway traffic needs to be halted,” Gustavsson said.

The national bomb squad will approach the objects. The police are urging the public to respect the cordoned-off area.

The crime classification is suspected preparation for a public endangerment.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
