Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid ditched the glam as she went makeup free to pose for a rare photo with her dad.

The 52-year-old presenter uploaded a selfie with her scarcely-seen father to her Instagram account and opted for a refreshed casual look.

She flashed a huge smile next to her dad for the picture that was snapped after the Easter weekend and bared her glowing skin for the camera.

Susanna’s signature bouncy brunette locks hung loose around her shoulders and she wore a patterned brown and white shirt for the occasion.

Alongside the family photo, she penned a caption that read: ‘DINNER WITH DAD! Lovely supper with my daddy after an amazing family Easter break.

‘Managed to spend time with all the kids, and mum too. Looking forward to being back @gmb tomorrow 6am [sic].’

Fans flooded the comment section under the post and shared words of praise for the breakfast broadcaster.

One wrote: ‘You & your daddy look gorgeous! Glad you’ve had a fab break, full of family energy. Hope that powers you through these coming weeks [sic].’

Another said: ‘Wow! You are the double of your Dad! We have missed you on GMB [sic].’

‘Wow! You look just like him! [sic],’ was a social media user’s response to the post shared by the co-host of the morning show.

The star’s post came after she admitted worries about living in her family home once all her children had flown the nest.

She shares three sons – Sam, 20, Finn, 18, and Jack, 17 – with her ex- partner and sports journalist Dominic Cotton, 55.

Susanna shared her feelings in The Sunday Times magazine: ‘My mornings are intense with the adrenaline of live news, so switching off is hard.

‘I’m perfectly happy with my own company – I talk to people all day, I have a terrific team and I love my close-knit family. When the boys leave home, I know that’s going to be challenging.

‘In the evening I like gentle TV, nothing gruesome. A bath is a must, it completely de-stresses me. On a good night I switch the lights off at 10pm and I’m asleep within minutes.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
