Stacey Solomon is looking to crack Hollywood after landing a job with Reese Witherspoon’s production company.
The Loose Women star, who delighted fans with her role on BBC’s home organisation series Sort Your Life Out, is set to front a brand new home improvement show from Hello Sunshine.
The upcoming show will be called Bricking It and will see Stacey, 33, carrying out a range of DIY projects to help people struggling after shoddy jobs from bad builders.
On her Instagram Stories, Stacey revealed: ‘For a little while I’ve been talking to Channel 4 and a production company called Hello Sunshine which was founded by Reese Witherspoon.
‘And she created it to champion women in film and TV, she’s just incredible at building women up and putting them at the forefront.
‘They asked me if I wanted to make a show with them, and I was like, “Hell yeah, I’ll make a show with Reese Witherspoon’s production company,” they’re words I never thought I’d say.’

The proud mum, who is pregnant with her fifth child, is making plenty of plans as her due date approaches and she will start filming in the summer.
She explained: ‘It’s basically gonna be a show where we go in and help people who have been done over by bad builders, run out of funding, and can’t finish their projects. And we’re gonna help them get to where they need to be.
‘I get to learn new skills along the way. So I’m gonna learn things that I have always wanted to do but I’m not confident with – like roofing, bricklaying, proper DIY.

‘I can’t wait. I’m so excited, and I’m just so happy that I finally get to share it… I am so so so excited. After maternity leave, I’ll be starting this.’
In a press release, Stacey revealed DIY has always been part of her life.
She said in a statement: ‘From an early age, my dad taught me DIY and the importance of fixing things yourself where you can.
‘I still find it so satisfying to build or repair around the house and it saves loads of money. I am beyond excited to work with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine on their first ever UK project.
‘They are all about empowering women, and what could be more empowering than a power tool. It’s a dream come true to share my DIY hacks with everyone at home.’
