Mel C is all of us when she says she still hopes for a proper Spice Girls reunion with Victoria Beckham someday.
It’s been a long time since Posh Spice united with the rest of the gang on stage, and Mels C and B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton embarked on their stadium tour in 2019 without her.
But it’s fair to say the hope that they may one day get back together as five spices isn’t over yet.
Mel C, 48, said that the group had an ‘incredible time’ on the tour three years ago, and really want to reform as a quintet.
She told The Times the other Spice Girls are ‘keen to get back on stage’ for another reunion but need to navigate ‘everybody’s life, work, families’.
Asked about fashion designer Victoria, 48, Mel C – full name Melanie Chisholm – replied: ‘That would be the ultimate dream.
‘The door is always open for Victoria, we would love to see her back. We keep our fingers crossed.’

And the Northern Star hitmaker admitted the group would particularly
love to perform at Glastonbury festival.
‘Glastonbury is so magical, and it’s the ultimate British
festival without a doubt,’ she said.
‘One day a Spice Girls performance there would be a great thing. We
would love to grace that stage.’
VB’s last performance with the Spice Girls was at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012 with the other members of the group, dancing on top of decorated black taxis.

In the late 1990s, the Spice Girls, who earlier this year celebrated their 25th anniversary, became the first band since The Beatles to claim three Christmas number ones in a row, with 2 Become 1 in 1996, Too Much in 1997 and Goodbye in 1998.
While Victoria may not yet be ready to reunite on the mic with her fellow Spices, it was reported earlier this year she has got back together with them to film a new documentary.
The docuseries will be helmed by the same team who were behind Netflix’s Emmy-winning Michael Jordan series The Last Dance.
‘The director and the whole concept of how that was shot and filmed is really, really, really good. So we’ll be doing our own version with them,’ Mel B said during an appearance on Australian TV.
During the documentary, the singers will all revealing new unheard takes from their heyday as the biggest band on the planet.
