Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden shared snippets of a joint Thanksgiving celebration alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden – but there was no sign of David Walliams.
The 51-year-old, who has been on the programme since 2007, uploaded a series of snaps of her enjoying the annual American holiday alongside her colleagues and Simon’s fiancée Lauren Silverman.
The trio appeared joyous as they reunited without their co-star David, who has reportedly quit the ITV series after 10 years.
In one of the snaps, the judges and Lauren beamed for a cute selfie, and in another shot, Amanda and Alesha posed alongside the New York socialite and captioned the picture: ‘Thankful Thanksgiving.’
Earlier in the week, it was reported that the 51-year-old comedian had stepped down from his role after disrespectful comments’ leaked online.
Two weeks ago, the Little Britain star apologised for the remarks, which were made about a contestant while he was filming BGT in 2020.
Since then, the comedian issued a statement and said he would ‘like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.’

He added: ‘These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.’
Leaked audio appeared to reveal Walliams referring to an elderly contestant as a ‘c**t’ as well as making further derogatory comments about another female auditionee.
While it is being reported that he’s now ‘quit’, a source has said that a decision was yet to be made about his future on the show.
‘It’s still very much up in the air at the moment on whether David is going to take part in next year’s show. No decision, though, has been made as yet,’ the insider told Metro.co.uk.

A spokesperson for BGT also added that ‘the judging panel for Britain’s Got Talent 2023 will be announced in due course.’
David joined the BGT judging panel in 2012 and has become a regular alongside Simon, Amanda and Alesha – with Ant and Dec fronting the annual series.
Amanda recently backed her co-star, saying: ‘I would like to see the judging panel look like it did before. I think we’re a great team, we’re a family.’

When quizzed directly on if she was ‘Team David’, she quickly replied: ‘Of course, I’m team David.’
While boss Simon refused to confirm that he will still be a judge for the next series.
