Sharon Stone broke down in tears during an emotional appearance in a new music video.
The Basic Instinct star teamed up with musician Ibrahim Maalouf on his new song, Our Flag, taken from his new album, Capacity To Love.
In the haunting clip, the 64-year-old – who recently spoke of her health issues – could be crying as she sat in a room, while the camera panned towards her.
Over the top of the clip, she offered a passionate spoken word contribution about America, which she wrote herself.
‘This nation needs a vacation from the presentation of your hesitation,’ she said. ‘You cannot stop your disassociation from the unethical beautification of your campaign negotiation.’
‘Don’t walk away, boy. We’ve got something to say, boy. Our country’s not a toy. Don’t walk away,’ she pleaded.

‘America, I love you, I treasure you and I am sorry for our mistakes. I want a leader who stands for our values, thoughts, mountains, skies, oceans, ozone and lakes.’
Musician Ibrahim spoke of working alongside Sharon for the emotional track, and revealed: ‘With Our Flag, I wanted to bring back, 80 years later, Charlie Chaplin’s speech from his movie The Dictator.
‘For this, I felt like giving the floor to Sharon Stone, a famous Hollywood actress, someone who is as symbolic as him and with a similar aura. I wanted someone who doesn’t mince their word, who doesn’t shy away from a particular stance, and mostly someone defending the same message as Charlie Chaplin.
‘In that sense, Our Flag echoes Charlie Chaplin’s speech, but with words reflecting our reality, our time. Chaplin’s speech from The Dictator is more relevant than ever and urgently needs to be heard again.
‘Our Flag does just that, almost a century later, with the same goal, uniting all of us, when the global context pushes us to shut out others.’
Sharon’s appearance in the Our Flag video comes after she opened up about her health issues, revealing that she had been diagnosed with a ‘large fibroid tumour’.
In a post on Instagram, she used the opportunity to urge other women to seek further medical advice if concerned about changes, following her own mistreatment.

‘Just had another misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure,’ the Hollywood icon shared.
‘This time double epidural. W worsening pain went for a SECOND OPINION: I have a large fibroid tumor that must come out.
‘Ladies in particular: Don’t get blown off. GET A SECOND OPINION. It can save your life.
‘I’ll be down for 4-6 weeks for full recovery. Thx for your care. It’s all good.’
