Sharon Osbourne’s son Jack has confirmed she is home from hospital after being rushed there following a ‘medical emergency’.
The former X Factor judge was said to have fallen ill on the set of a TV show she was filming on Friday, but her illness was not specified.
Her son Jack, 37, has now spoken out on behalf of Sharon, 70, to confirm she has been discharged from hospital and now resting at home.
In his Instagram post, the former Osbournes star clarified earlier reports that Sharon was filming a paranormal TV programme when the ‘medical emergency’ happened.
Jack began: ‘Ok here is what I’ll say. First things first MY MOTHER WASN’T A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode Night of Terror with me.
‘Now that we have made that clear… She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home.’

He went on to thank well-wishers for reaching out ‘with love and support’, before stating: ‘As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to [Sharon] to share about when she is ready.’
Jack is the first and only member of the family to address Sharon’s health scare since news of her hospitalisation broke on Saturday.
According to TMZ, Ventura County Fire Department confirmed that EMS workers responded to a ‘medical call’ on Friday evening and transported a patient to hospital, who was later confirmed to be Sharon by Santa Paula Police Chief.
Sharon has been primarily living in America where she is looking after her husband Ozzy Osbourne, 73, as he continues to battle various health issues, including living with Parkinson’s disease since 2003, and undergoing multiple spinal surgeries for a fall he suffered in 2019.
However, the couple are set to move back to the UK with Ozzy recently stating that he ‘does not want to die’ in the States.
