Seann Walsh was appalled that fans didn’t recoil in shock on reading the news the comedian passed out during the birth of his first child.
The 37-year-old star announced the arrival of his child with girlfriend Grace Adderley on Sunday and admitted the ordeal was a bit more than he could handle.
After revealing he fainted while in the delivery room, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here contestant joked at the lack of surprise over his spell.
Taking to Instagram stories, Seann penned a light-hearted message sharing his feelings following the big reveal last weekend.
Against a black background, the famous face typed: ‘Can I just say btw, I’m a little bit offended that no one is surprised that I fainted during Grace’s labour.
‘I thought I was a strong independent man [sic]’.

The funnyman shared the happy news with his followers on social media with a picture of the newborn nestled in Grace’s arms.
Shot from over the new mum’s shoulder, the image was captioned: ‘Grace has been through so much this week but she’s finally okay. We’re home. Girl power.
‘Her bravery has made my fainting all the more pathetic [sic]’.
He also spoke to fans in a video, telling them the story of what happened as he welcomed his little one into the world.

Seann said: ‘So Grace has had our baby and [I’m] sat here in the very relaxing postnatal department and the staff have been great.
‘The nurses have been coming up to me all morning and congratulating me which has just been lovely.
‘I didn’t realise how many people knew what the Chortle comedy award for best show was but, you know, these nurses have their finger on the pulse. They really do.
‘Just shows you how well the NHS is doing really. I should have brought the award with me but I just wasn’t thinking.’
He then quipped: ‘The baby. Great week actually, really great week.’
The star later returned to Instagram to poke fun at himself for passing out: ‘Oh btw. I passed out during the birth. Of course I did.
‘The nurse’s response… “Men”. Fair.’
