Schoolboy stabbing victim, 15, named as boy arrested
The 15-year-old schoolboy who was stabbed to death outside his Huddersfield school has been formally named as Khayri Mclean.
Mclean was attacked in a “targeted incident” on Wednesday and a 16-year-old was arrested in the town on suspicion of murder on Thursday – he remains in custody.
Police were called to the scene, on Woodhouse Hill, in the Fartown area, at about 14:55 BST.
The teenager was taken to a nearby hospital where he died a short time later.
