PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL
Burnley 12:30 Everton
Venue: Turf Moor
Sean Dyche will need to pick his players up from last weeks heavy defeat at Man City ahead of their clash with Everton today. They need to take something from Everton and show they are capable of restoring Turf Moor’s reputation as a difficult place to visit.
This will be Burnley manager Sean Dyche’s 200th PL match in charge, making him the 35th manager to reach that milestone.
Carlo Ancelotti kicked off his spell in charge of Everton with a Boxing Day win over Burnley. And following a blistering start to the season, Everton have struggled. Will Carlo tinker with his formation again.
In their first five league games this season, Everton scored 14 goals from 64 shots at a 21.9% conversion rate. In their past five matches, they have converted five of their 52 attempts at a rate of 9.6%.
Team News Burnley v Everton
Burnley’s Nick Pope and Josh Brownhill are available but Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Phil Bardsley are doubts. Robbie Brady and Dale Stephens could also be in contention.
Seamus Coleman and Lucas Digne are the only absentees for Everton, who report no other injury concerns.

BBC Sport – Lawro’s prediction
Everton have lost their way a little bit – they’ve only won one in five. The fixtures weren’t that difficult for them during the first few games of the season until they faced Liverpool.
Nick Pope is in contention for Burnley; Everton still without Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman; follow Burnley vs Everton in our dedicated live blog with highlights published shortly after the final whistle.

Manchester City 15:00 Fulham
Venue: Etihad Stadium
Man City are unbeaten in their last 39 Premier League home matches against promoted sides (W35 D4), winning the last seven in a row by an aggregate score of 21-1. Only Chelsea (43) and Manchester United (40) have had longer such home runs against promoted teams.
Following their 2-1 win at Leicester last time out, Fulham are looking to pick up consecutive PL away wins for the first time since August 2013, while they last won two in a row on the road within the same season back in May 2011.
Manchester City have won their last nine meetings with Fulham in all competitions, netting 27 goals while conceding just three in this run.
Team News Man City v Fulham
Sergio Aguero (knee) has returned to training and will be assessed further ahead of kick-off.
Scott Parker reports no fresh injury concerns following Monday night’s win at Leicester City. Kenny Tete (calf) continues to make good progress but Saturday’s contest comes too soon.
The latest odds and match predictions from SKY Sports and the BBC
Lawro’s prediction For Man City V Fulham
Scott Parker’s side are easy on the eye and that’s a big tick for him. However, I don’t think they’ll have much of the ball against Manchester City.

West Ham United 17:30 Manchester United
Venue: London Stadium
West Ham are on a great run and Manchester United are hurting after losing to PSG in midweek, so what better time for David Moyes to hammer home a point to his former employers.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær is unlikely to be fazed, though, with world-class talent in Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani to rely on. This is Cavani’s first game since his recent controversy over his racist Instagram post.
West Ham United have won their last two Premier League home matches against Manchester United. They have not won three in a row at home against the Red Devils in the top flight since a run of four between January 1974 and December 1977.
Team news, stats and prediction ahead of West Ham vs Man Utd in the Premier League on Saturday; kick-off 5.30 pm.
Team News West Ham V Man United
West Ham will be without Michail Antonio (hamstring) after he picked up the injury during their win over Aston Villa on Monday. But Andriy Yarmolenko has returned to training following an illness.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful Marcus Rashford (shoulder) can be part of his squad, despite injury forcing him off in midweek. Luke Shaw (hamstring) remains absent.
LAWRO’S PREDICTION on West Ham V Man United
West Ham are on a great run and are looking for their fourth straight win. I spoke to their manager, and my friend, David Moyes during the week and he told me Aston Villa were the better team during the 2-1 win and that his side were lucky to come away with three points.
Sky Sports preview West Ham v Manchester United
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is a doubt due to a shoulder complaint.
The 23-year-old is being assessed after aggravating the issue and coming off in the second half of Wednesday’s Champions League defeat to Paris St Germain.

Chelsea 20:00 Leeds United
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Marcelo Bielsa won three of his four managerial meetings with Frank Lampard during the Englishman’s season in charge of Derby in 2018-19, but lost the decisive play-off semi-final second leg at Elland Road.
Chelsea are unbeaten in eight PL matches, with only Spurs having a longer current undefeated sequence (nine), and no team in the division have kept more clean sheets than Frank Lampard’s side, with five.
Leeds have won three of their five PL away matches this season, as many as they did in the whole of their previous campaign in 2003/04 (W3 D2 L14). They have kept a clean sheet in all of those three victories.
Team news Chelsea v Leeds United
Chelsea report a clean bill of health ahead of their Stamford Bridge contest with Leeds United.
Diego Llorente has recovered from injury but Saturday’s match may come too soon. Leeds will again be without injured duo Pablo Hernandez and Jamie Shackleton.
LAWRO’S PREDICTION Chelsea v Leeds UTD
Marcelo Bielsa’s side started the season well, but have had a mixed recent run of results which saw them ship four goals in two successive games. I think the quickness of the players among some Premier League sides has caused them problems.
The soft centre in this team is defensive….
Sky Sports Preview of Chelsea v Leeds UTD
France forward Olivier Giroud is pushing hard for his first league start of the season, having struck all four goals in Spain in a stunning display of finishing. Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa has reported no new injuries following last week’s 1-0 win at Everton and is expected to choose from an unchanged squad.
