Woody Harrelson surprised viewers with some interesting views about Covid-19 vaccinations during his Saturday Night Live (SNL) monologue.
The Now You See Me actor, 61, reminisced on a particular script which he branded the ‘craziest’ as it included forcing people to remain in their homes unless they agreed to take and keep taking their drugs.
‘So the movie goes like this,’ Harrelson explained.
‘The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes. And people can only come out if they take the cartel’s drugs and keep taking them over and over.’
‘I threw the script away,’ Harrelson continued.
‘I mean, who was going to believe that crazy idea? Being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day.’

Fans were a little confused by Harrelson’s message, with many under the impression ‘he went off-script.’
‘Damn.. Woody was holding onto that monologue for years. Yikes,’ one person wrote.
Another tweeted: ‘I guess I missed the whole Woody is an anti vaxxer and conspiracy kind of guy! #SNL @nbcsnl you thought that would be funny? Really clearly the in person audience did not neither did I!’
‘This gave me secondhand embarrassment,’ a third person added.
Following the coronavirus pandemic, SNL was a little different as resident stars joined the programme remotely from their homes.
Hollywood megastar Tom Hanks hosted the show weeks after he battled with the virus in April 2020.
