Sarah Michelle Geller would love to being back her Sex and The City character in And Just Like That – and she has an idea.
The second season of And Just Like That is currently filming and already we know that Aidan (John Corbett) is not only back in the picture but he’s been snogging Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in New York City.
Obviously we are absolutely thrilled.
So if Aidan can stroll back into Sex and The City, why can’t super keen and kind of annoying junior development executive Debbie?
Debbie popped up in season three of Sex and The City when Carrie flew to Los Angeles because her columns were being optioned for a movie.
The very excitable Debbie couldn’t contain her glee when she said Matthew McConaughey was really keen to play Mr Big.

It’s been 20 years since Sarah entered the Sex and the City universe and now she’s made a triumphant return to acting, she’s more than open to revisiting Debbie again.
Remembering her cameo, the scream queen revealed scheduling issues always got in the way of her appearing in her dream show alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.
‘I was desperate to be on it and [creator] Darren [Starr] had written me a couple roles and I couldn’t get out of Buffy to film and I was really upset,’ she told Entertainment Tonight.
Thankfully, the girls came to her in LA but still she had to dash from slaying vampires all day on the set of Buffy at 10pm to film Sex and The City until at 5am – after starting at 5am the day before.
‘I was delirious doing that scene, but I was also deliriously excited,’ she said.
Lining up a potential return, she continued: ‘I feel like the [development] girl, which is what she was then, is probably running a studio and maybe she has a place to come back.
‘Michael Patrick King, are you listening?’
Really though, are you?
And Just Like That is expected to return to Sky Comedy and NOW in 2023.
