Of course, it’s great that a whole new generation of music lovers are now into S Club 7… but the band themselves have a bone to pick with y’all.
Appearing on The One Show on Friday, the Bring It All Back hitmakers beamed with excitement as they finally announced the news of their long-awaited comeback tour.
Yes, that’s right, folks! All seven members – Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, and Tina Barrett – will come together for an 11-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland later this year, ready to delight fans will all of their hits.
We’re sure there’ll be fans of all ages, screaming out the lyrics in the crowds – but make sure you get them right!
Hannah in particular said she’s noticed Gen Zers (those born mid-1990s to mid-2010s) in particular are making up their own words on TikTok.
Speaking to host Alex Jones, she was stunned to learn that their songs have had over 60million streams on Spotify.

‘It’s amazing. It’s incredible that Generation Z has picked up on TikTok with the likes of our songs nowadays and it’s incredible,’ she began.
‘But, I will just add to that, I think everyone’s saying, “Reach up for the stars!”‘
‘It’s a new thing they’re doing!’, Jo chimed in.
Of course, there’s no ‘up’ in the lyrics, but simply, ‘Reach for the stars’, so now you know exactly what to sing if you’re planning on seeing the group live this year.
‘It doesn’t even fit!’, exclaimed presenter Alex.
‘On the trumpet, I think it does,’ Hannah clarified.
The band then revealed Reach is the song they’re most excited to perform live again.
On what we can expect when they hit the road, Bradley said:
‘We’re brining the nostalgia, we’re bringing the late 90s/early noughties, so there’s a lot of fun. It’s very positive our music, and in today’s times, we need a bit of positivity, we need a bit of picking up, so we’re here to give you that.’

The band admitted they haven’t started rehearsals yet, but they’re interested to hear what songs fans want to hear, urging them to send suggestions for the set-list via social media.
Revealing how the reunion came about, Jon added: ‘I don’t think we’ve changed that much. When we see each other and come back into the room, it’s like it was five minutes ago, but Simon Fuller, our manager, emailed us all individually at the end of last year and said about the anniversary, and we set up our own WhatsApp group to get excited about the tour.’

‘It feels like the right time,’ added Rachel, and we couldn’t agree more.
Jo – who’s been in and out of hospital recently with back problems and needing surgery – also ensured that she’ll be fighting fit by the time the tour kicks off.
‘I’m ready,’ she promised. ‘I’m doing physio, I’m allowed to swim now, so I will definitely be back on that stage, 100%.’
