Members of the Royal family are today bracing themselves for the first episodes of the bombshell Meghan and Harry Netflix series to be released.
At around 8 am the first three episodes of the £88m six-part series are set to drop online.
King Charles and Prince William are poised to issued a ‘swift and robust’ response to any unjust claims in the series, it has been reported this morning.
But William and Kate are not likely to watch it themselves, it has been claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already made a number of claims in two trailers released by Netflix in recent days.
They have claimed they had no protection from the Palace and accused aides of actively leaking and ‘planting’ stories against them as part of a ‘dirty game’.
A source told The Mirror: ‘There’s a real feeling in the camp that Harry and Meghan are making a lot of noise and there isn’t much more to say.
‘But preparations are being made for all outcomes, especially if there are unjust accusations being made.’
Members of the Sussexes’ now defunct household are also said to be ‘seething with rage’ over trailers for the six-part documentary.

Officials from both Buckingham and Kensington Palace will watch the first three episodes of the series on Thursday morning.
But it is understood that the Prince and Princess of Wales will refuse to watch the first three episodes of the documentary.
An insider also told The Sun that the royals are reluctant to engage in a tit-for-tat battle over the series.
They said: ‘If there are parts which are blatantly wrong, then it is only right that they are corrected.
‘The trailers already have some glaring errors and misrepresentations, which doesn’t bode well for the full series. But the plan is to keep schtum and carry on.’
But sources told the newspaper they are unlikely to respond until the full series has been released – due next Thursday.
Aides are understood to have been briefed by the King and Prince of Wales to issue a ‘swift and robust’ response if required.
‘If there is a need to respond to anything in the upcoming series then you can be assured that response will be swift and robust.’
It is understood that Netflix offered a right of reply to senior ryal to allow them the chance to respond to any allegations featured in the series.
But Buckingham and Kensington Palace both deny receiving any such approach.
There have already been a number of revelations that have caused a stir, after two trailers were released for the new series.
In the second teaser clip released on Monday sparked a number of accusations of fake news, as it emerged Netflix tried to pass off Katie Price footage as proof the couple were ‘hounded by the media.’
It comes after one picture from the first trailer showed a crowd of photographers at a Harry Potter film premiere, but this was before the couple had even met.

The second eyebrow raising claims have seen the Duke and Duchess of Sussex roll out a pal to make allegations of racism.
US businessman Christopher Bouzy, 47, blasted in the second official teaser: ‘It’s about hatred. It’s about race.’
And the bombshells have kept coming, as Prince Harry blasted the Royal ‘hierarchy’.
And he also raised a chilling concern: he was ‘terrified’ that ‘history would repeat itself’.
The trailer goes on to show a direct shot of Harry’s late mum Princess Diana, grimly suggesting Meghan could meet the same tragic fate because of press attention.
Referencing his mother further in the second trailer, the Duke goes on to blast the Royal Family’s treatment of women.
The 37-year-old claims: ‘The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, it’s a feeding frenzy.’
And the Duke even goes as far as to claim wife Meghan did not feel ‘protected’ when he erupts: ‘They’re never going to protect you.’
Shots of Meghan wiping tears and Harry looking visibly distressed feature in the first advert.
