Roman Kemp ‘quitting’ job ahead of major career refocus
The Metro says Roman Kemp has reportedly made the decision to call it quits with Capital FM after seven years of radio broadcasting to focus on new ventures.
The 30-year-old has been at the helm of the station’s breakfast show for almost a decade, waking listeners up with co-hosts Sian Welby, 37, and Chris Stark, 36.
Despite forging a career in radio, the star has also made appearances on TV and works as a presenter on BBC’s The One Show alongside Alex Jones, 46.
Since taking his seat on the red sofa, it has been said that the son of Spandau Ballet singer Martin Kemp, 61, could be making a permanent switch to telly in the near future.
