The Daily Express reports that Rishi Sunak has secured an advantageous deal with France’s Emmanuel Macron to secure greater cooperation to end the Channel migrant crisis.

The paper says that a charm offensive by Mr Sunak has persuaded French President Emmanuel Macron to co-operate on a deal to bolster patrols on the beaches of northern France.
