Rishi Sunak said ‘hats off’ to controversial host nation Qatar for hosting an ‘incredible World Cup so far’
The Prime Minister urged Gareth Southgate’s men to ‘keep the dream alive’ for Brits back home ahead of their World Cup round of 16 match against Senegal.
The Three Lions take on the African champions tonight, and before the game the PM sent a message to the players in Qatar.

In a Tweet he said: ‘Hats off to Qatar for hosting an incredible World Cup so far.
‘The group stages will be remembered as one of the all-time greats.
‘Come on England keep the dream alive.’
