Rishi Sunak refuses to say if he’ll vote on Boris Johnson Partygate report
The i newspaper says Rishi Sunak has refused to say whether he will vote in the Commons today on the Privileges Committee report on Boris Johnson.
Just hours ahead of the potential vote in the Commons, the Prime Minister said he “would not want to influence anyone in advance of that vote” and that it was “a matter for parliament and members and individuals”.
Speaking to ITV’s Good Morning Britain on ITV, he said: “This is a matter for the house rather than the government, that’s an important distinction and that is why I wouldn’t want to influence anyone in advance of that vote.
