Rihanna apologises to the Muslim community
Sky News says Rihanna has apologised to the Muslim community for the “unintentionally offensive” use of sacred texts during a lingerie fashion show.
“I’d like to thank the Muslim community for pointing out a huge oversight that was unintentionally offensive in our savage x fenty show,” Rihanna wrote in her Instagram Stories.

But don’t worry! This habit is part of the nun’s costume she wore playing Sister Mary Clarence in the “Sister Act” movies from the 1990s.
During her Oct. 7 appearance on “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” the actress/co-host of ABC’s “The View” said that things are happening behind the scenes to possibly produce “Sister Act 3.”

Tom Parker diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour
BBC News says Tom Parker, one of the members of boy band The Wanted, has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
The singer, 32, said he was “still in shock” after being told he had a stage 4 glioblastoma six weeks ago.
“I knew something wasn’t right, but I never expected it to be this.”

Kim Kardashian donates $1m to Armenia relief fund
TMZ says Kim Kardashian is putting her money where her mouth is on the conflict in Armenia — she just announced she’s dropping a fortune to aid in efforts on the ground … part of an even larger investment on behalf of the entire family, TMZ has learned.
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney all just posted videos to raise awareness about an org they’ve partnered with called the Armenia Fund — which aims to raise money for aid to help innocent people on the ground who are caught in the middle of the recent escalation.

‘For Kobe’ Lebron leads Lakers to 17th title
Aljazeera says the LA Lakers, led by LeBron James’s triple-double, beat the Miami Heat 106-93 on Sunday to win a record-equalling 17th NBA championship – their first in a decade.
James added another chapter to his epic career, scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists as he captured his fourth NBA title with a third team as well as earning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player honours for the fourth time.
