The Guardian reports that Justice Secretary Dominic Raab behaved so badly during a Home Office meeting during his first stint in the job that his department’s top official had to personally apologise.

It comes as Mr Raab, who has served in a number of cabinet roles, faces an independent investigation over two formal complaints of bullying made against him. He has denied the allegations.
