The release date for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming docu-series on Netflix is said to have been revealed – and it could be coming just around the corner.
In September 2020, after stepping down as senior working members of the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multi-million dollar deal with the streaming platform.
The deal involved working with the company to create a variety of productions, including scripted shows, documentaries and children’s programmes, in collaboration with their own company, Archewell Productions.
While much has been discussed about their own docu-series coming to Netflix, little is known about the mysterious project.
However, it’s been claimed that an exact release date has been settled upon, with it being reported by Page Six that it’ll be dropping on the site on Thursday December 8.
In August, Meghan spoke to The Cut about what viewers can expect from the documentary, explaining that it would shine a spotlight on her relationship with her husband.

‘The piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see, is our love story,’ she said.
A couple of months ago, it was alleged that Harry and Meghan wanted to postpone the series following the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
‘A lot of conversations are happening. Harry and Meghan want to stall,’ an insider told Page Six at the time.
Meanwhile, a Netflix source added: ‘Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December.
‘There’s a lot of pressure on [Netflix CEO] Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished.’

The publication claimed that there were supposed issues with the documentary, as comments made by the duke and duchess on screen seemingly contracted what Harry wrote in his memoir, Spare.
The fifth season of The Crown was recently released on Netflix, as Elizabeth Debicki took over the role of Princess Diana, Dominic West portrayed Prince Charles and Imelda Staunton starred as the Queen.
Elizabeth spoke out over criticisms of the dramatised historical drama, which was dubbed ‘crude sensationalism’ by Dame Judi Dench, telling Radio Times: ‘I respect people’s points of view and I, being an actor in the show, understand the nature of what the show is.
‘It was always very clear to me that one can never know what happens behind closed doors, and that a writer is interpreting what may have happened.’
She added: ‘Now the disclaimer is up there, we can maybe stop talking about it and move on. If that’s helpful for certain people, so be it, and now the conversation can be returned to the creative endeavour of what the show is.’
