Daily Mirror – Pray for victory … brace for chaos
The Daily Mirror reports that the world is holding its breath for the result of the US election. The newspaper says armed troops are on standby in case there is a repeat of the 2021 riots, following Donald Trump’s defeat in the last presidential election.
English pop star Liam Payne is featured on the front page as Radio presenter Jo Cox says many feel like the let him down. Payne died a few weeks ago following a fall from a hotel balcony.
