Good news for families during the school holidays, as Tesco have announced it’s bringing back its Kids Eat Free scheme.
Arriving at 310 Tesco cafes across the UK, parents will be given a helping hand by the supermarket, when kids at home can put finances under pressure.
The supermarket known for its deals will give away one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix deal with each item bought by an adult.
Adults can spend as little as 60p to nab a free meal for their kids.
All you need to do is show a Tesco Clubcard at the till.
The scheme will run in cafés between the following dates:
Scotland: July 3 – August 11
Northern Ireland: July 3 – Sept 1
Jason Tarry, Tesco UK CEO, said: ‘We know that the extra costs of keeping children fed and entertained during the long summer holiday can stretch household budgets, so we’re bringing back Kids Eat Free to give families a helping hand.’
Items you can get at the cafes include beans or avocado on toast, chicken goujons, fish fingers and sandwiches.
Fresh fruit, snacks, and vegetables are available too.
As the cost of living crisis continues to bite, schemes like this can make a real difference to families during the summer holidays when children are without school meals.
