PM doubles down on Archbishop of Canterbury attack & says Rwanda policy is ‘morally right’
The Sun says BORIS Johnson last night doubled down on his attack on the Archbishop of Canterbury saying his Rwanda policy was “morally right.”
And he accused the BBC of getting the wrong end of the stick on immigration.
The head of the Church of England had claimed plans to deport migrants to Africa was “ungodly”.
But the PM said “It’s a sensible brave and original policy.”
And he heaped praise on the Home Secretary, saying: “Priti Patel has come up with something that is extremely difficult to pull off. I think she has done an outstanding job.”
