Piers Morgan says real Martha ‘lied quite a lot’ during tell-all interview
Piers Morgan has shared his verdict on his much-criticised interview with the woman thought to be the ‘real Martha’ in Baby Reindeer.
On Thursday, the 59-year-old interviewed Fiona Harvey, 58, about the Netflix drama created by Richard Gadd based on his real-life experience of being stalked by an older woman.
Harvey, said to be the inspiration behind the character, repeatedly denied stalking Gadd and bombarding him with messages, describing the show as ‘a work of fiction, a work of hyperbole.’
Reflecting on the TalkTV interview, Morgan said he felt Harvey, a Scottish lawyer who has threatened to sue Netflix over Baby Reindeer, had ‘lied quite a lot’.
