Peter Andre announced he’ll be joining GB News’ breakfast show this week, however fans weren’t sure how to feel about the move.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 50, is no stranger to the small screen after launching a miniseries with ex-wife Katie Price and starring on reality shows including I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Strictly Come Dancing.
Peter has now confirmed that he’ll be joining GB News presenter Ellie Costello this Wednesday and Thursday.
He announced on social media: I’ will be hosting the GB news Breakfast show tomorrow morning with @elliecostelloTV for my first ever time.
‘Join us bright and early. 6-9:30 am.’
The free-to-air channel was launched in June 2021, becoming Britain’s first television news start-up for more than 30 years.
Set up with the aim of broadcasting ‘original news, opinion and debate’, it’s been described as right-leaning on political issues.
While some fans congratulated the musician, others declared it a ‘bad move.’
‘Oh dear.. not one of your better decisions,’ one person replied.
‘Oh no, why?’ another added.
Peter also found himself a hot topic of discussion earlier today after sharing footage on Instagram of an overly eager fan repeatedly grabbing his bum.

The TV personality shared the throwback clip from Music in the Park, an Australian festival he performed at in December.
He could be seen balancing on a barrier step in order to get up close and personal with his fans, but it seems one fan got a little too friendly.
He added the hashtags ‘good vibes’ and ‘butt grab’ – although many of his followers failed to see the lighter side of things like him.
‘Oh dear! How difficult is it to respect one’s personal space? Plus, he’s married for God’s sake! If the shoe was on another foot, Peter would have been in serious trouble. Hope you ok @peterandre [sic],’ commented one.

‘Um no this is assault Peter, you are entitled to personal space, if it were a man doing it to a female performer he’d be arrested!’ pointed out another fan.
A different follower simply stated: ‘Bro, that’s not ok. People need to keep their hands to themselves.’
